
Matthew A. Rogers
Matt Rogers is the strategic initiatives manager in the executive office at the Urban Institute. He has aided the senior vice president for program planning and management in developing and managing several initiatives, including Urban’s work on structural racism and inequality and mobility; the Washington, DC, research initiative; and the Elevating the 2016 Debate blog. He is also the program manager for the US Partnership on Mobility from Poverty.
Previously, Rogers was deputy political director at ActBlue, a political nonprofit. He is a member of the board of directors of ActBlue Charities, which democratizes and facilitates giving to charitable organizations, and is on the board of advisers for Pinchina Consulting, an urban planning consulting firm. He earned his bachelor’s degree in politics from Brandeis University and his master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
